Jo Barfield (Deputy Head)

I was delighted to join St John’s in 2021 after many years at Ocklynge. I am loving the family feel of the school where pastoral care of all our community is second to none. I am an experienced and passionate subject lead of all things English and am glad to be continuing this role here, as well as leading History and Computing. Getting to know the whole school in my role as Deputy and playing my part to ensure all children benefit from our broad and balanced curriculum is equally as rewarding.

In my spare time, my 3 children and I make frequent trips to my Liverpool homeland, follow football avidly, read and cook together.
